Yes. The 8 ft tree comes in parts with a metal stand. Fix the stand first on a level floor, join the parts from the bottom up, then open every branch. Because it is tall, you will need a step stool to open the top branches and place a star. The box is compact because the tree is packed in parts.

How should I decorate the 8 ft tree?

Plan for more lights and ornaments than a home-size tree. Our customer used a gold star, a Merry Christmas sign and stockings on the fireplace beside it; another used a red star, pink balls and lanterns. Keep heavy pieces low near the trunk.
